ABOUT ME

Who am I?

My name is Eve, but most people call me Evie (why? Well, my mum decided shortly after naming me she didn't like it). A Cardiff gal born and bred, I am currently Wales Online's food, drink and lifestyle writer. 

Alongside all the nicest foodie spots in and around Cardiff, I love writing all things lifestyle - that includes mental health, relationships #Ilovelove, fashion, food, travel, culture and figuring out life in your (later) twenties.

Here are a few things about me:

I love music - initially, I trained as a songwriter and love poetry. I'm also OBSESSED with musicals. Have you seen Hamilton? Disney + ....watch it.

For me fashion is my favourite form of expression - especially statement jewellery. I think I need an entire room for my earring collection alone. 

​

Like most people, I love exploring - Wales and new countries and cultures. While I'm not travelling, I live vicariously through Twitter and Instagram to tend to my itchy feet (desire to travel, not anything else). Fav place so far? Without sounding cliché, Bali.

I am a coffee and avocado lover (once tried it together in a smoothie... wasn't awful).

​

I'm a massive advocate for mental health and wellbeing, I hate running, love HIIT (don't knock it til ya try it), yoga is my calm and dance floors are my kryptonite.

​

Cats are my spirit animal - and really really want to be a cat mum - and I naturally have mad curly hair.
